Guess Family Barbecue: Sausage & Brisket Melt

Barbecue is big business, but sometimes it’s just a family hobby. Guess Family Barbecue relies heavily on family traditions, particularly for their handmade sausage. 

They offer three different blends of sausage—Italian, Garlic, and Chipotle Cheddar. Each of them offers a distinct taste and texture that certainly will not disappoint. In fact, it’s one of our favorite things to order at Guess! Generations of the Guess family have poured countless hours of care into developing these incredible sausages, and you can taste it in every bite. 

Aside from exceptional sausage built on a heritage of backyard barbecues, Guess also offers a brisket melt sandwich that is what first drew our attention. Before they hard a big beautiful building with a hip and trendy asthmatic, the Guess family sold their barbecue from a food truck. One of our favorite menu items for the food truck was the crispy and delicious brisket melt. Buttery Texas toast and melty cheese harmonize well with the moist and flavorful brisket.

Visiting Guess is an experience. Every aspect, from the building to the food and beverage, oozes artful attention to detail. With all that, it’s hard to choose what to order, but we know you absolutely cannot go wrong with the brisket melt or the family recipe sausage.
